Arnold John S. Galicia used to write editorial, news, and feature
articles for The Sebastinian, San Sebastian College-Recoletos' official
student publication while submitting his poems and short fiction to
Lumad, the school's official literary anthology which he edited for two
consecutive years. He is a member of the Cavite Young Writers
Association and was an associate member of the Writers Union of the
Philippines or UMPIL. He also attended poetry clinics such as the
Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo under Ophelia O. Dimalanta and
National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario. Aside from surfing
the Net, he is fond of cooking adobo, sinigang, paksiw, spaghetti, and
tinola while reading classic novels. But he likes eating ice cream and
cakes more.
Arnold often remembers his dreams. He believes in the unexplained. Utterly superstitious, he believes in Karma.
His nicknames are Arjay, Arn, Nold, Arn-arn, and Adjong
